Daylight was fading, the skies blending oranges, purples, and blues.  The air was calm, with a slight breeze + cooler temps arriving as night took hold.

We were on Ocracoke Island, a remote stretch of shoreline south in the Outer Banks.  There was no golf course within 70 miles.  In these conditions, a golf itch would progressively grow if not addressed.

Grabbing some essentials, we hiked out to the beach, soaked in the sunset, and got a lil better with the sand game.
