If one didn’t know any better, they might think this entire Golf is Everywhere series is a paid advertisement by the state of Oregon, showcasing the depth and breath that is the terrain here. In the last iteration of Golf is Everywhere, we found ourselves marching in the snow; and just two weeks later, the coast beckoned us on a sunny, sixty-degree windless afternoon. Yep, that’s Oregon for ya. 

This particular Golf is Everywhere installment is one of my favorites, for a lot of reasons, but partly because it’s one that I actually think is very, very realistic — not a distant fragment of our imaginations. Firm sand makes for quick greens and good feedback on shallow or deep divots. 

Hannah and I made our way out to Pacific City, Oregon for this one. We found the perfect spot just on the north end of Cape Kiwanda — one place you have to visit. If you do, let us know. I’ll give you the coordinates for our Golf is Everywhere location.
